Wildlife Emergency Relief funding gratefully received

State-wide wildlife rescue and educations group, WIRES have recognised the dire effects the current drought and  recent bush fires is having on native wildlife in the Upper Hunter and have recently provided financial assistance which will help pay for veterinary costs, animal rescue cages, electric heat pads, medical supplies, wildlife release enclosures, specialised food supplies and feeding equipment.
This funding greatly improves the ability of Wildlife Aid volunteer to rescue and care the unprecedented number of macropods, possums and wombats and native birds coming into our care.

Wildlife Aid volunteers have also been receiving food donations from ALDI which are being taken to fire damaged bushland to feed wildlife.
